April grew up in Arizona. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. Shortly thereafter she married her high school sweetheart and moved to Lubbock, Texas. She began her nursing career working in the Burn Intensive Care Unit at UMC. April obtained her Master of Nursing Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Lubbock Christian University in 2018. She was the recipient of the Smith Minarik Family Excellence in Care Award upon graduation. April has two beautiful children. She is excited to work in the Littlefield community and already enjoys seeing familiar faces. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, go camping, and run!
